Mayhem is a brand new, weekend long film festival devoted to all things horror, featuring premiers, cult classics, midnight movies, scary television, horror nostalgia, a brilliant fancy dress party and the best new shorts from the future fear makers of tomorrow.

Mayhem was founded in 2004 by Nottingham-based film-makers Steven Sheil, Chris Cooke and Gareth Howell. The early Mayhem festivals focused around a shorts programme, showcasing terrifying new shorts from an international submissions call.

Mayhem 2009 was bigger and better than ever before, with an extra night of screenings, surprise guests and exclusive never been seen before films and the return of our deadly fear filled film quiz.
